"LightBuckets delivers premium-grade telescopes and pristine skies directly to your desktop. We provide online, remote access to observatories in both the northern and southern hemispheres to hobbyists, astrophotographers, and university student/researchers. Our deep space instruments consist exclusively of RC Optical Systems Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes. The LightBuckets Telescope Network currently includes a 24RC with ion-milled optics and a 12.5RC, both located under the excellent northern hemisphere skies of southwestern New Mexico. For southern hemisphere imaging, we offer a 14.5RC with ion-milled optics located in Pingelly, Western Australia. Using our telescopes is easy. We’ve designed LightBuckets.com to give you complete access to our observatories through a friendly, browser-based interface. You decide when to image, you decide what to target, and you decide all aspects of your imaging plan. We’ll let you know when your plan is running and you can sign in to LightBuckets to watch it in real-time through LightBuckets RunTrack.
