Special Projects at RC Optical Systems...
June 18th, 2009 - RC Optical Systems, Inc., was awarded a $256,000 contract by the The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT/ENY) at Wright-Patterson AFB to design and build a Space Imaging Component / Space Imaging and Power Laboratory.
This telescope is an off-axis Mersenne with a slow steering single axis mirror, flat fast steering mirror, adjustable field stop with AFIT Instrumentation package. This telescope will fly on the Space Shuttle.
