Mobile Large Aperture Infrared (MLAIR)
RCOS delivered the 34RC to Vandenberg AFB in May of 2009. After acceptance testing is complete, the RCOS 34 inch f/8 will join the two 24s (below) in the center platform.
RCOS designed, developed and manufactured two "Ruggedized" 24RCs and one "Ruggedized 34RC for Vandenberg AFB to participate in MLAIR; the Worlds largest aperture high speed mobile tracking mount.
